I have been trying to work on eight goals every month. This month I’m going to take a different approach and just let things happen. This month will be a self-reflecting month and I’ll just see what I can come up with for future goals.
Planned investment goals
I have three investing/savings goals that I budgeted for on my last payday blog. I’m planning to save $1800 this month for my rental property, Robinhood will receive $1320, and Lending club will receive $75.
Casual reading during my commute
I was reading around an hour a day last month to complete reading 3 1/2 books, and this month I will only read on my morning and afternoon commute. I had a goal to read two books the last few months, but this month I will take a casual approach and probably get through the remaining 1/2 from Ultralearners, and depending on the next book I pick, I might finish that before the end of the month.
I bought three years of Disney Plus, which gave me one year free if you pay for two years. Looking forward to watching some classics from my childhood. Anyone else giving Disney Plus a try?
Enjoy Google Stadia
I preordered Google Stadia before I started blogging. The release date is on November 19, 2019. I will be playing and testing this out. If it’s as good as I imagine, I see Xbox and Playstation being way behind in the new revolution of gaming. My current Xbox just stopped working, so one advantage of Google Stadia is already being demonstrated to me. Not having to purchase hardware that goes obsolete and breaks is excellent.
Last month for Miles
I still have to spend $540 before the end of the month to get the 40,000 miles from American Airlines. I was hoping to do this without needing to spend on things I didn’t need, but I might not achieve it. If I don’t get it near the end of the month, I might upgrade my Pixel 2 that has a cracked screen with the new Pixel 4 or a Pixel 3a.
That ends it for this month’s goals; If I end up picking up any new hobbies, I’ll make sure to let you know on my December goals.
